Nabeela tells her story in the form of a letter to her Mother. She explains why she has chosen to live an independent life which is seen as so different from her female siblings and which goes against what is expected of her. She tells of her love for her Mother and her wish for acceptance in a patriarchal world which she is navigating with bravery and determination.
Nabeela made this story as part of APC’s Feminist Tech Exchange workshop in Islamabad, Pakistan, in collaboration with P@SHA.
