20 Oct Blessing in Disguise – Sally
As a child, Sally was misunderstood and often in trouble. She was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and had trouble, at first, accepting this diagnosis. She was depressed and angry. Once she accepted her diagnosis and got the help she needed, she went from strength to strength!
This story was made in a 5-day workshop in 2009 organised by the African Decade for People with disabilities, in association with the Association for Progressive Communications and Women’sNet.
